Mandal Express is on the move, claims Lalu

Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad on Monday once again raised the issue of Mandal and dropped enough hint of realignment of various parties working for social justice and communL harmony.

Talking to the media after appearing in the CBI special court in Ranchi he said that the Mandal Express is on the move. “Those willing to board are welcome while those not interested will miss it,” he said adding that this is the need of the hour.

He claimed that Nitish Kumar was ‘ours’ as he grew up in secularism, but went to join hands with the BJP and allowed it to grow.

He said JD(U) and RJD unitedly defeated the BJP in the recent Rajya Sabha by-poll and thus exposed its design.

He claimed that the foundation of RJD was laid on the principles of social justice and secularism.

Lalu reitereated that the Janata Dal (United), which contested election separately, got 15 per cent votes against RJD-led alliance 30 per cent.

Had they contested unitedly the BJP would not have been anywhere in the scene in Bihar, he added.
