“JD(U), RJD alliance a mis-matched marriage”

Patna,(BiharTimes): While some political observers are of the view that the alliance between the Janata Dal (United) and Rashtriya Janata Dal is a marriage of convenience BJP MP, Ram Kripal Yadav, called it a mis-matched marriage, which is bound to fail.

“It is a mismatched marriage, and you can just expect how long will it last,“ he told the media.

Other BJP leader and former Union minister Rajeev Pratap Rudy said that the agreement among the defeated parties is not going to yield any result as they do not exist any more.

He asked former CM Nitish Kumar as to what had happened to his Jungle Raj slogan, which helped him become the chief minister of the state. Does he want to re-establish the Jungle Raj?

He said the BJP would win all the 10 seats, which go to poll on August 21.

On the other hand Janata Dal (United) Rajya Sabha MP, K C Tyagi, said whether it is a mismatched marriage or not it is the matter best left for the JD(U) and RJD. “The members of the dancing party need not be too much bothered about it,” he said.

He justified his party’s stand to join hands with RJD to stall the BJP juggernaut.
