A day later Annu relents, Renu softens her stand

Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after showing sign of rebellion and refusing to accept the speaker’s notice, the rebel Janata Dal (United) MLA, Annu Shukla, on Tuesday changed her stand while another rebel, Renu Kushwaha, too has softened her stand.

Both the legislators separately met the speaker, Uday Narayan Chaudhary, on Tuesday morning. They were summoned by the speaker after the JD(U) moved for the disqualification of their membership of the House.

Interestingly, four senior ministers of the Jitan Ram Manjhi, government, were in the speaker’s chamber when the two MLAs met him.

Annu told the media that she would stand by the party and the leadership of Nitish Kumar. She appreciated the development work being done in Bihar.

On the other hand, Renu Kushwaha, who on Monday moved the Patna high court against the party’s move appeared somewhat different on Tuesday. She tried to avoid the media, but later said that she had sought a day time to take the final decision.

Meanwhile, the Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday issued whip asking all the MLAs to follow the guideline.
