Ram Vilas gives credit to his Chirag for tie-up with BJP

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Union minister of food and consumer affairs and president of the Lok Janshakti Party, on Monday gave credit to none else but his own son, Chirag Paswan, for the tie-up with the BJP, which helped it win six out of seven seats it contested in the recently held Lok Sabha election.

Speaking at the first national executive meeting of the party after the Lok Sabha election in New Delhi he showered praise on his son for forcing him to go in alliance with the BJP.

Thanking Chirag and members of the parliamentary board of the party, he said the LJP is celebrating the victory which was possible due to Chirag’s initiative. Chirag is the chairman of the parliamentary board of the party.

He ridiculed the coming together of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad by saying that they were like the snake and the mongoose, who climb the same tree to save themselves from being drowned in a flood.

He said the NDA wave in Bihar would drown both of them and dubbed as an eyewash Nitish’s move to make Jitan Ram Manjhi as the chief minister. He dared Nitish to declare that the JD(U) would project Manjhi in the next Assembly elections too.

On this occasion Ram Vilas abandoned his past stand and appealed to the Muslims to leave Godhra behind. He said that they would be more secured under the Narendra Modi government than any other regime. *
