Patna,(BiharTimes): The Mayor of Patna Municipal Corporation, Afzal Imam, won the trust vote on Thursday. The voting took place in the Shri Krishna Memorial Hall.
The Mayor got 36 votes in favour and one against. In all only 44 out of 70 ward councillors took part in the voting.
A few days back 33 councillors moved no trust motion against Afzal Imam. They blamed him for the collapse of civic amenities in the state capital.
