SuMo holds Nitish responsible for political instability in Bihar

Patna,(BiharTimes): The former deputy chief minister, Sushil Kumar Modi, has held the former chief minister, Nitish Kumar, responsible for pushing the state into the political instability.

In a statement issued on Sunday he alleged that development and governance had come to a standstill in Bihar in the last one year.

He accused Nitish of insulting the mandate given by the people to the NDA in 2010 Assembly election.

According to him the morale of bureaucracy has been hit by the turn of events in the state in the past one year. He said that development has come to a grinding halt for which none else but Nitish is responsible.

He reiterated that the present government is surviving on the support of Congress and RJD, the two parties, whom Nitish had always criticized in the past. The fact is that the people of the state gave three-fourths majority to the NDA against these two parties, but today the JD(U) government is taking the help of them.

SuMo described the appointment of Jitan Ram Manjhi as the chief minister as the second betrayal of the voters’ mandate of 2010.The BJP too saw its vote share among Muslims increasing from four in 2009 to eight per cent now.
