Four JD(U) MLAs see Nitish’s hand in phone-tapping

Patna,(BiharTimes): Four JD(U) MLAs said on Friday that they would write to Union home minister Rajnath Singh to get the matter related to the tapping of their phones probed by the CBI.

They charged former chief minister Nitish Kumar with getting the phones of over 50 legislators, including that of senior BJP leaders Sushil Kumar Modi and Nand Kishore Yadav, tapped.

The MLAs Gyanendra Singh Gyanu (Barh), Poonam Devi (Digha), Ravindra Rai (Mahua) and Madan Sahni (Bahadurpur), in a joint Press conference, said the party and Bihar could be run even without Nitish Kumar.

They said that Jitan Ram Manjhi is the dummy chief minister, Nitish is the de facto CM.

They said that it is a myth that Bihar and the JD(U) can be run only by Nitish Kumar and the Hitlersahi of Nitish cannot be tolerated further. He has cheated the EBC legislators, they alleged.

Poonam Devi said that they would not vote for any candidate other than the party national chief Sharad Yadav in the Rajya Sabha election. They would not vote for any outsider as is being proposed.

Gyanu said the State JD(U) president Bashistha Narain Singh had dissolved the executive committee without consulting the national leadership and added that he has no knowledge of the party constitution.

On the other hand Bashistha Narain Singh said the party is taking note of the activities of some legislators and would deal with the situation according to the party constitution.
