Ram Kripal Yadav may quit RJD following denial of ticket from Patliputra

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Rajya Sabha MP of Rashtriya Janata Dal Ram Kripal Yadav may resign from the party in protest against the denial of ticket from Patliputra parliamentary constituency.

He is likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party and may even get the party ticket from Patliputra seat.

If Ram Kripal departs it may be a big blow to the party as he was a mass leader with his own following cutting across caste and community lines.

Ram Kripal is likely to reach Delhi on Friday and may hold talks with the BJP leaders.

The RJD has made Misa Bharati, the daughter of Lalu Prasad as the candidate from Patliputra seat. In fact her in-laws place also falls in this constituency.

Lalu feigned ignorance about the reported move by Ram Kripal. He, however, said that many people are ‘bhuke’ (hungry) of ticket and the party is not bothered about them. “I have dared to put her up on the demand of the people,” he told the media.
