Patna,(BiharTimes): Till a few days back Khagaria strongman, Ranvir Yadav, was knocking at the door of the BJP to get Lok Sabha ticket for himself or wife Poonam Devi, who is a Janata Dal (United) MLA.

But on March 6 the Rashtriya Janata Dal announced the name of Krishna Yadav, the second wife of Ranvir, as its candidate for Khagaria Lok Sabha seat. Interestingly, both Poonam and Krishna are own sisters, yet they love each other and live together in Khagaria.

Though Poonam told the media that she would continue to be in her own party and work for it, Ranvir said that she would definitely vote for her sister, that is, the RJD candidate. He is sure of success.

Khagaria symbolizes how messy the politics in the state has become.

Only on Sep 29, 2012 Ranvir snatched the gun from Poonam’s security guard to fire in the air when para-teachers were protesting before the chief minister in Khagaria. Nitish was there as a part of Adhikar Yatra.

Then last month Ranvir openly indicated that he is in touch with the BJP and may join it. Even the BJP did not deny the news.

Now the scene has suddenly changed.

Krishna, a national athlete in her youth, was also all praise for her elder sister.
