RJD supporters clash among themselves in presence of Lalu

Patna,(BiharTimes): Supporters of RJD nominee from Karakat Kanti Singh and former MLA of Obra (in Aurangabad district) Satya Narayan Yadav clashed in front of RJD chief the party chief Lalu Prasad during his first election rally at Rajpur in the constituency under Rohtas district.

Reports said that at least half a dozen people were injured in the clash and have been admitted to a local hospital.

The sources said the supporters of Satya Narayan, indulged in violence when a group of party leaders started protesting against the nomination of Kanti Singh. The situation turned ugly when her supporters intervened.

The supporters of former MLA even showed black flag to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and shouted slogans against him.

Lalu, on his part, said Satya Narayan was elected to assembly in 2005 from Obra due to Kanti. Obra incidentally falls in Karaket parliamentary constituency. The RJD chief also called him a dalal.

On the other hand, while addressing a public meeting at Sikraul in Buxar district, Lalu said he was least bothered about dissension in his party.

Referring to Ram Kripal Yadav he said “Party me rahen chhahe jayen, isase koi fark nahi (It hardly matters whether he remains in the party or goes).

Lalu once again reiterated that it was he who stopped the Rath of Lal Krishna Advani and if the people support him he would succeed in stalling Narendra Modi from becoming the prime minister of the country.

He lashed out at Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and charged that there was rampant corruption and loot everywhere in the state. This is very much against the Lalu-Rabri raj in which poor were given due respect by the officials and their works were done without demanding any bribe.
