Patna,(BiharTimes): Siwan strongman Ajay Singh, husband of Janata Dal (United) MLA, Kavita Singh, has announced that he would be contesting election as an Independent candidate from Siwan Lok Sabha seat.

He was upset over the denial of ticket to him and alleged that instead of samman (respect) the party workers are getting apmaan (humiliation).

It needs to be recalled that Ajay has a questionable past, therefore, the Janata Dal (United) did not give ticket to him after the death of his MLA mother in 2011.

The JD(U) leadership then asked him to get married. He hurriedly got married during the inauspicious occasion of Pitripaksha and his wife, Kavita got the ticket. She even won as the Janata Dal (United) candidate
