BJP MP flays NaMo at Kailashpati’s death anniversary for ignoring Bhumihars

Patna,(BiharTimes): The second death anniversary of former Gujarat governor and arguably the tallest BJP leader of Bihar, Kailashpati Mishra, witnessed open revolt against none else but prime minister Narendra Modi by the party’s BJP MP, Bhola Singh.

He along with Chandra Mohan Rai, Dr C P Thakur and even Giriraj Singh have repeatedly been targeting the leader of opposition in the state legislative council, Sushil Kumar Modi, and leader of opposition in the Assembly, Nand Kishore Yadav. Indirectly they have been aiming at the prime minister too.

But on November 3 Bhola Singh shed all the inhibition and came out openly against the Narendra Modi government for ignoring Bhumihars and mistreating them.

Incidentally, all these four leaders who are extremely vocal against the state leadership of the party belong to this caste.

Bhola, who is in his mid-70s, expressed his resentment in presence of senior party leader and former BJP president Murli Manohar Joshi, the Union minister Radha Mohan Singh, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Dharmendra Pradhan, former Union minister, Syed Shahnawaz Husain, Sushil Kumar Modi, Nand Kishore Yadav etc.

Using poetry and indirect references he asked as to why Bhumihars are being overlooked by the party when the caste stood so solidly behind it.

The anger was natural as no Bhumihar from Bihar has been inducted into the Narendra Modi cabinet. The only Bhumihar in the cabinet is Minister of State for Railways, Manoj Sinha, who incidentally comes from east Uttar Pradesh.

Bhola Singh almost accused the leadership of using them as “meek pet” against the “yeoman sacrifice” for the party, saying he would no longer suffer in silence.

Humko un se hai wafa ki umeed, jo nahi jante wafa kya hai (We expect trust from the one who does not know what the trust is all about), he quoted Ghalib to make home his point.
