When will Narendra Modi govt pay Rs 15-20 lakh to each individual, asks Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): The speeches made during the Lok Sabha election campaign by prime minister Narendra Modi come to haunt the BJP.

Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar is repeatedly playing the record of his speeches in which the present prime minister promise to bring back within 100 days thousands of crores of black money stashed in the foreign banks and that everyone would be given Rs 15-20 lakh from them. The promises made by Baba Ramdev and the then party chief Rajnath Singh is also being highlighted at every meeting during the Sampark Yatra.

Nitish is asking the people to go and organize sit-ins outside the houses of all the BJP leaders to demand Rs 15-20 lakh.

Not only that speeches promising special priority to Bihar are also being played.

Nitish appears much more combative and organized in his attack than in the past Yatras when he was with the BJP and the target was none else but the RJD––sometimes the ruling UPA too.

Nitish is repeatedly asking as to when will Rs 15-20 lakh come to the bank account of the people. How is it that the Centre is now stating that it is not aware of the exact amount stashed in the foreign banks.

Much to the embarrassment of the BJP Narendra Modi’s speeches played by Nitish clearly said that “Chor looteron ke paise lana chahye” and that “we will give Rs 15 to 20 lakh to everyone if the black money is brought back.”

True Nitish has not abandoned the demand of special status for Bihar, but in his latest Yatra he seems to be concentrating his energy on exposing Narendra Modi’s doublespeaks on black-money. Though the BJP leaders in Bihar are putting up a brave front and are targeting Nitish over Jitan Ram Manjhi’s recent remarks over the ‘foreigner’ status of the upper castes, the party appears defensive on the issue of black money. The leaders are well aware that it is not possible to pay Rs 15-20 lakh––or even much less amount––to the people.

Nitish did not stop only at blackmoney. He is repeatedly stating that why is it that the rail fares and prices of diesel, pertrol, kerosene and LPG cylinders are not coming down when the global price of crude oil has come down by 33 per cent––that is from $ 115 to 82 dollar a barrel
