Now some JD(U) leaders come in favour of Manjhi

Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after the Janata Dal (United) national general secretary, K C Tyagi, asked Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi to avoid giving controversial remarks a couple of party leaders have came out openly in favour of the latter.

Most forthright in their comments are the first time minister Manoj Kushwaha and party MLA, Arun Manjhi. Another minister Shahid Ali Khan too has come in defence of Manjhi.Manoj Kushwaha said that the speeches of the chief minister are sending a very good and positive messages to the Mahadalits. “I live among the Mahadalits and Extreme Backward Castes and have been observing that the weaker sections are strongly rallying behind the JD(U),” he said.

Arun Manjhi, while attacking some upper caste leaders of his own party, said that Mahadalits are uniting solidly behind Manjhi as well as JD(U). Some upper castemen are unnecessarily targeting him.The two leaders instead said that Manjhi’s action is making JD(U) and the party leader, Nitish Kumar, strong.
Shahid Ali Khan, in a function in engineering college in Darbhanga, said that the media is distorting the statements of Manjhi.
All these leaders are of the view that Manjhi is a true soldier of JD(U) and Nitish Kumar.
