Dozen more police officers shifted

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Within three days the state government on Friday transferred a dozen more police officials, including nine from the Indian Police Service (IPS). Incidentally, a couple of them were those who were transferred only on Oct 8.

According to an official notification issued by home department Nagendra Singh, Commandant of the Bihar Military Police (BMP)-8 at Bengusarai has been shifted to Saharsa as the DIG, Kosi range. His transfer, vide a notification dated October 8 last, as the DIG, Railway, Patna, now stands cancelled.
Similarly the 1999 batch IPS officer Manju Jha has been shifted from her present posting as the BMP-15 Commandant at Bagaha and made the DIG, Railway at Patna. An earlier notification posting her to Saharsa at the DIG, Kosi range, has been cancelled.

Lalan Mohan Prasad, Commandant of BMP-6 at Muzaffarpur has been entrusted with additional charge as the SP(Railway), Muzaffarpur.

Rajiv Ranjan, who is serving as the SP (Special Branch at Patna), will be the new Kishanganj SP. Only on Oct 8 he was made SP of Sheikhpura in place of P K Mishra, who has been made the Patna City SP. 
Begusarai SP Manoj Kumar has been given additional charge as the Commandant of BMP-8 at Begusarai, while Sanjay Kumar, who is the Principal of Constable Training School (CTS) at Nath Nagar in Bhagalpur, has been given additional charge as the Commandant-cum-Principal of the CTS at Simultallah, while Buxar SP Jayant Kant gets additional charge as the Commandant of BMP-4 at Dumraon and Principal-cum-Commandant of Bihar Military Police (BMP) Training Centre at Dumraon.

Naveen Chandra Jha, who had taken over charge as Kishanganj SP only on Thursday, has been sent in the same capacity to Sheikhpur. Though Kishanganj witnessed violence on Tuesday the district has seen three SPs in three days. 

On the other hand Hari Prasad S. gets additional charge as the Commandant of BMP-15 at Valmikinagar, Bagaha in addition to being Bagaha SP.
