Patna,(BiharTimes): Twenty-six District Congress Committee presidents from Bihar on Wednesday met party chief Sonia Gandhi and demanded removal of the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee chief, Ashok Chaudhary. 

They also complained about the style of functioning of the AICC General Secretary and Bihar incharge of the party, C P Joshi. 

The demand for his removal started gathering momentum ever since the party performed badly in the last Lok Sabha election.

According to reports from New Delhi the 26 DCC chiefs told Sonia Gandhi that the position of the party has further deteriorated under the leadership of Chaudhary. They have sought an appointment with Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
