Upset CM tries to walk away from Shri Babu’s birth function

Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Wednesday tried to walk away from a function organized to commemorate the 127th birth anniversary of the first chief minister of Bihar, Shri Krishna Singh, at Garhpura in Begusarai district as a district-level RJD leader Urmila Thakur, while speaking on the occasion, took much longer time than allotted to her.
Visibly upset over the action of Urmila, who was raising local issues, Manjhi stood up to leave the dais.
While leaving he complained that the people do not stick to their allotted time when he had such a tight programme. He had reportedly told the organizers in advance about his buys schedule in the day.
It was only after minister Mahachandra Prasad Singh and other leaders who persuaded him to return.
Speaking on the occasion he said the function was to pay respect to Shri Babu, but many speakers are raising the problems of the area.
Manjhi said had Shri Babu not helped Dalits enter the famous Deogarh temple, people like him from the weaker sections could not have become the chief minister.
