Patna,(BiharTimes): Former Bihar minister and Congress leader P N Sharma died here on Friday after prolonged illness. He was 89.
Sharma was minister in the cabinet of chief minister Satyendra Narayan Singh in 1989. He was a member of Bihar Legislative Council for five terms.
Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and former CM, Nitish Kumar, visited his house and paid tributes to the departed soul.
Nitish said Sharma was a great human being who mingled with people from all walks of life.
The chairman of Bihar Legislative Council Awdesh Narayan Singh, while condoling the death, said it was a personal loss for him as he used to learn a lot from Sharma for efficient running of the Council.
