Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Sunday alleged that former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi was trying to derive political mileage by implicating senoir leaders of his own party in the medicine purchase scam.

Talking to the media on the sidelines of a seminar organised by a civil society organisation on “Role of Public Private Partnership Mode in Education and Development in Bihar” he said Modi is deliberately speaking about medical scam. He is well aware that other senior leaders of his party like Nand Kihsore Yadav, Chandra Mohan Rai, Ashwini Choubey and others, who could pose a challenge to him, will be implicated in it.

Manjhi said that Modi thinks that by doing so he would succeed in removing those who are creating obstacles on his path to success.

Manjhi again defended former chief minister Nitish Kumar and added that Sushil Modi thinks that if he keeps speaking about medical scam the involvement of his rivals within the party would come to light. Thus the internal politics of BJP is behind whatever Modi is saying.
