Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after the media reported that Patna Saheb MP, Shatrughan Sinha, had held former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi responsible for the defeat of the party in four out of six seats in the August 21 by-polls Bihari Babu on Wednesday clarified his statement saying that he had no personal differences with SuMo.
He has denied having any rift with Sushil Modi.
Shotgun said he has no difference with Sushil Modi, as the latter is his personal and political friend. The BJP MP said that he was not targeting any individual.
He said what he intended to highlight is that collective leadership and participation of all leaders could have yielded better results for the party in by-polls.
Shatrughan Sinha said that his observations on by-polls was in the context of larger party interest.
The film actor-turned-politician said that contribution of SuMo in the expansion of the party in the state can not be overlooked.
