SuMo opposes Yogi Adityanath’s stand on ‘love-jehad’

Patna,(BiharTimes): Stating that he does not support BJP leader Yogi Adityanath’s statement on ‘love-jehad’ former Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that if the Gorakhpur MP spoke in Bihar like he did in Uttar Pradesh, he would have contradicted the remarks.
Talking to mediapersons in Delhi, he clarified that if central leadership says anything on any issue that is the view of the party but if any particular leader says anything that can not be called as the voice of the party but of the individual.
He said that there is no space of hate speeches in Bihar and there is no need of people like Yogi and Shakshi Maharaj.
He promised to give a good number of tickets to Muslims in 2015 Assembly elections.
However, the party’s Nawada MP and SuMo’s arch-rival in Bihar politics, Giriraj Singh, said that Yogi has not said anything wrong. Love-jehad is going on. Making love is not wrong, but in the name of love girls are being cheated.
“I do not want to comment on anything. Love jehad started in Kerala a few years back,” he said adding love-jehad is a planned attack. It is not love, but love-jehad.
“We have not lost the by-polls in Uttar Pradesh, because the issue of love-jehad was raised,” he added.
