Ruckus in Bihar Assembly over Kankarbagh blast


Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar Assembly was adjourned till 4:00 PM on Wednesday following uproar over the Kankarbagh Colony blast on Monday night. The issue was raised by the BJP MLAs during Zero Hour. The members rushed to the well of the House and started thumping and hitting the reporters’desks. Repeated pleas by the Speaker of the House, Uday Narayan Chaudhary, felt on the deaf ears of the opposition members.


When the House re-assembled the BJP members entered the House with black tapes on their mouths. The leader of opposition in the state Assembly accused the Speaker of gagging the voice of the opposition benches.After adjourning the House the Speaker called a meeting of the leaders of all parties in his chamber.


Nand Kishore said that while he demanded that the government reply on the issue today itself it is ditherhing on such an important issue by stating that it would reply on April 6.However, the water resources minister Vijay Chaudhary, has a totally dfferent thing to say on the issue. He said that the state government was ready to give suo moto statement on the issue, but the BJP members continued to create ruckus. Why were they so impatient? Is there any political motive to it? he asked
