No jobs for people from Bihar, UP in C,D grade posts: Jharkhand CM

Patna,(BiharTimes): Jharkhand chief minister Raghuvar Das on Wednesday came out with a statement which is likely to create political storm in neighbouring states.

Addressing a function on the occasion of Sirhul Milan, a festival of tribals, he announced that people from Bihar and UP would not get -C and D grade jobs in Jharkhand. He said that an all-party meeting had been called in this regard on April 7. Later a meeting with intellectuals and activists would also be held.

His statement is likely to rake up controversy because when the former chief minister Hemant Soren gave a similar statement a couple of months back he was denounced by the BJP bigwigs like former deputy CM of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi. He said that people belonging to any place can seek job in any
state of the country.

Incidentally, Raghuvar is the first non-tribal CM of Jharkhand––the state has total 10 chief ministers in 14 years of existence. His ancestors too were not from Jharkhand. What is strange is that while Hemand Soren made these remarks after being voted out of power Raghuvar Das had said so as the chief minister of Jharkhand.
