Patna,(BiharTimes): With the slogan “Ek Jhanda, Ek Nishan Maang Raha hai Hindustan,” (India beckons one flag, one symbol) Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday announced his party’s merger with Janata Parivar.

Talking to the media after RJD’s national executive meeting at Hotel Maurya in Patna on Sunday he said fighting the Bharatiya Janata Party would be the top priority of all the constituents of the proposed new party.

Warning Amit Shah he said that the BJP chief can step into Bihar only after the Narendra Modi government scraps land acquisition bill, deposits Rs 15 lakh in the account of all the Indians and provides jobs to the youths of the country.

He said that the mega-merger had already taken place and Mulayam Singh Yadav would just be making the formal announcement.

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar is already in Delhi to hold talks with the Samajwadi Party leader, Mulayam Singh Yadav. All the top RJD leaders, including Pappu Yadav, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Ram Chandra Purve, Prabhunath Singh etc were present on the occasion. All of them finally agreed to merger.

In fact Raghuvansh said that the merger should be announced soon. He and Pappu had some reservation over it. Prabhunath Singh later told the media that only one MP said that the merger should take place after the election, which should be fought as alliance partners.
