Patna,(BiharTimes): Union human resources development (HRD) minister Smriti Irani on Sunday said that the Narendra Modi government has made up its mind to give 33 per cent reservation to women for political representation in Parliament and legislature.

Addressing the state BJP Mahila Morcha Mahasammelan (mega-conference), she claimed that it was the NDA government in Bihar which gave 50 per cent reservation to women in urban and rural local bodies.

Stating that women of Bihar do not need another jungle raj Irani urged them to work hard to remove the Jungle Raj-2 as they did to bring to power the ‘Pradhan Sevak’ Narendra Modi last year.Referring to Nitish Kumar she said that no one ever imagined that one who was the chief minister of the NDA government would one day bring in Jungle Raj-2 in the state. The Union minister claimed the Centre had made maximum allotment to Bihar under the recommendations of the 14th Finance Commission.
