Nitish, Rabri flay Jharkhand govt’s local resident’s policy

Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Ntiish Kumar on Tuesday strongly criticized the new local resident’s policy of the Raghuvar Das government in Jharkhand.Talking to the media he said that till a few years back Jharkhand was a part of Bihar and his state has no problem in giving jobs to the people from that state or anywhere else.Teasing the BJP leaders he asked as to what had happened to its slogan of “Sab ka saath, sab ka vikas.”

He questioned the silence of the BJP bigwigs both in Bihar and in Delhi. How can people of one state be stopped from getting job in other states. This is a classic case of BJP’s doublespeak on Indianness. The Bihar chief minister said that in federal sytem jobs can not be kept confined to any state or region.

Former chief minister and RJD leader Rabri Devi too denounced the Jharkhand government’s policy on this issue. “What type of policy is this. One should not go to Maharashtra, one should not go to Mumbai.”

She said that since the BJP people are panicky over the merger of the parties of Janata Parivar they are adopting such absurd policies to divide the people. The local resident’s policy of the Das government has its reverberations in the Bihar Legislative Council and Assembly too where the JD(U) and RJD legislators raised the issue.

On the other hand the Bihar and Jharkhand incharge of the BJP, Bhupendra Yadav, said that the JD(U) people should not be bothered about Bihar as people’s fate are secure in the hands of the BJP in both the states.

It needs to be recalled that the Jharkhand government is going to ban the Group C and D jobs for the people of Bihar and UP.
