Lalu hits back at Pappu, says one is free to leave RJD

Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Wednesday hit back at the dissident party MP from Madhepura, Rajesh Ranjan, alias Pappu Yadav.

Talking to the media in Rohtas district he said that in every family, son is the natural successor after his father and Pappu is not his son.

Lalu also questioned the media’s sudden love for Pappu when till sometimes back they used to call him a ‘goonda’.When asked by the reporters whether he would take any action against Pappu he said that those who want to quit can leave the party themselves and “we do not need to expel anyone”.

At Gopibigha village near Dehri-on-Sone in the district he said the final decision on the merger of like-minded parties would be taken on Ambedkar Jyanti, that is April 14.The RJD chief said that he is eager to welcome former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi to the new party as he had no grudge against him.

He also said the BJP's end would start from Bihar in the next state Assembly election.Lalu refused to oblige those involved in mining and stone-crushing business in protected forest of Rohtas and supported the police action against their illegal activities.

He said the action has been taken in compliance with the court’s order. He said so when members of Stone-crushers Udyog Samiti stopped his carcade at Gopibigha.A few days back Superintendent of Police Shivdeep Lande was fired upon when he led a team of police to destroy the crushers.

Lalu minced no words to tell them that they voted for the BJP and Narendra Modi; so now taste the fruit of their false assurance. While on way to Barun in Aurangabad district attempt was made to stop him at a coal depot in Sakhara by some people who gathered under the banner of Koyala Parivahan Sangh. They demanded opening of coal burning units that were raided and seized by Lande on Monday.

However, Lalu did not stop there and proceeded towards Barun where he unveiled the statue of Late Keshav Prasad Singh, a social activist.Kanti Singh, Ilyas Husain, Ashok Singh and other RJD leaders accompanied him.
