Rajnath recalls sacrifice made at Hunkar rally day


Patna,(BiharTimes): Stating that the BJP would sweep the Bihar Assembly election and get rid of the Jungle Raj of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Union home minister, Rajnath Singh, remembered the sacrifice made by those killed on the occasion of Hunkar rally day on October 27, 2013.

Several people were killed and many others injured in serial bmob blasts. He showered praise on the crowd which then stood peacefully to listen to the speech of the then prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.Speaking at the BJP’s rally on the occasion of Ambedkar Jyanti Rajnath was one of the speakers who at length recalled the contributions of Babasaheb, the Dalit icon and the architect of the Indian Constitution.


He claimed as to how Pakistani forces had been silenced after the coming to power of the BJP. The intrusion and firing on border has become a thing of the past.Rajnath said Bihar is the place from where all the movements for change had started. Mahatma Gandhi launched the Satyagraha from Champaran in 1917 and JP his Total Revolution from this very Gandhi Maidan.


He held Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad responsible for the present state of affairs in Bihar. He said that the undivided Bihar once used to be the industrial hub of the country and the state was once a leading foodgrains producer. It was to store the surplus foodgrains that the British had to made Gol Ghar. But now Bihar is at the bottom on all the ladder of developmental indices, he charged.Those who have brought Bihar to this condition should be taught a lesson.

They want special status, but what about the hike in grant made under the 14th Finance Commission recommendations, the home minister asked.He announced Rs 5,000 pension for all the farmers above the age of 60. Rajnath conceded that no government can give job to all the youths, but added that a scheme has been launched under which not a single person would be left unemployed.
