0+0 will always be zero, says Amit Shah on mega-merger
Patna,(BiharTimes): The national president of the BJP, Amit Shah, said that 0+0 will always be zero.Addressing the party workers on the occasion of Ambedkar Jyanti at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan on Tuesday he dispelled the fear that the merger of Janata Dal (United) and RJD would pose a big challenge to the BJP.
He urged the people of the state to throw out the Nitish Kumar government, which had lost the voters’ mandate.Strongly denying the charge that the land acquisition bill is anti-farmer he said not a single inch of land would be given to the corporate houses. This is sheer propaganda for which he blamed the Congress and other opposition parties.
Ridiculing the fast undertaken by Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar he asked as to who is running a dozen sugar mills in Bihar and whom has he invited to run the malls.Shah, who spoke for just 11 minutes, tried to instill enthusiasm among the people by asking them whether they want to get rid of the present Nitish Kumar government or not. The crowd responded in ‘Yes’.
He urged the party rank and file to work tirelessly and relentlessly till this Nitish-Lalu combine is decimated in the state and BJP comes to power as elsewhere in the country and in the Centre. He claimed that with 10 crore members the BJP has emerged as the biggest party in the world. Bihar alone has 90 lakh members, which is much more than the fixed target.
The party chief listed a number of schemes launched by the Narendra Modi government for the poor people of the country. Several people-centric programmes have been taken up, but it is the state government which has failed on the delivery front.
He assured the mass that Bihar would be made number one state in the country once the BJP comes to power with two-thirds majority.
