Patna,(BiharTimes): The Patna Saheb MP of the BJP, Shatrughan Sinha, was not present at the Amit Shah’s rally in Patna on April 14.Though the state party chief Mangal Pandey and other leaders tried to downplay his absence many people started questioning him. Initial reports said that he had chosen not to attend the rally as he was not invited. But the Bihari Babu denied the report and said that he could not attend it as he had to go to Maharashtra for some work.

Anyway his absence does not came as a surprise as many BJP leaders in Patna call him absentee MP. A few days back posters appeared in streets of Patna inquiring about the whereabouts of the MP. Political observers said that this was the handiwork of the opponents of Shotgun in Bihar unit of the party itself.He, along with some other BJP bigwigs, were often considered close to former deputy PM, Lal Krishan Advani.
