Patna,(BiharTimes): Union food minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday demanded that President rule be imposed in Bihar as one can not expect free and fair poll under the Nitish Kumar regime.

Commenting on large scale transfer of IAS and IPS officers he said that Nitish Kumar had put all the officials in the dock by transferring them just ahead of the Assembly election.

“If the transferred officers were good and honest why were they removed and if they were corrupt why were they posted,” he asked.

Former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, on the other hand, sought the intervention of the Election Commission. He said that transfer-posting industry has been flourisihg in the Nitish government and the latest one has much to do with the Assembly election.
