Patna,(BiharTimes): While calling Shatrughan Sinha as ‘Bihar ke gaurav’ (pride of Bihar), a true democrat and a personal friend chief minister Nitish Kumar denied having any political talks with ‘Bihari Babu’.
In fact he skirted any discussion on the news doing the rounds that JD(U) may give ticket to the wife of BJP’s Patna Saheb MP.

But media reports from both Patna as well as New Delhi suggest that supporters of Shatrughan Sinha are lobbying for JD(U) ticket for Poonam Sinha.

Reports also say that the JD(U) is open to the proposal of fielding Poonam from Bankipur or Digha Assembly seat of the state capital. Two quick meetings between CM and Shotgun added fuel to this speculations.

Bihar watchers are of the view that if Poonam gets ticket the electoral battle in Bihar may become all the more interesting.
