Both Houses adjourned after BJP creates ruckus on law and order situation


Patna,(BiharTimes): Both the houses of Bihar Assembly were adjourned for day on Tuesday after repeated disruptions over, what the BJP alleged deterioration in law and order situation.
The BJP legislators wanted to raise the issue of Parbatta where a large number of Dalit families had to flee from their homes.
Outside the state Assembly JD(U) MLAs raised slogans against Vyapan scam in Madhya Pradesh and the issue of black-money as promised by prime minister Narendra Modi during the election campaign.
Leader of opposition in the state Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav claimed that number of crimes have doubled in the last one decade since Nitish Kumar came to power with the BJP. He said thoughthe crime is rising yet the state government is not bothered about it.
Leader of oppositionin the Legislative Council Sushil Kumar Modi said that the rise in crime has reminded one of the Jungle Raj days.
Both BJP and JD(U) members raised slogans against each other.
Later JD(U) spokesman Neeraj Kumar, while talking to the media, charged the BJP with indulging in double speak.
He said Manoj Chaudhary, who is the main accused in Parbatta case, is a BJP worker. Yet the BJP is taking the service of Pappu Yadav to defame the state government. “After all who has provided Y-category status to Pappu Yadav and given him helicopter to move around Bihar, ” he asked.
Meanwhile, former chief minister Rabri Devi, while criticising the BJP, said that the House should be allowed to function properly
