Upendra Kushwaha again demands 68 seats for RLSP

Patna,(BiharTimes): Union minister of state for Human Resources Development and president of the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP), Upendra Kushwaha, on Sunday once again demanded 68 seats for his party in the coming Assembly election.

Talking to the media in Hajipur he once again asked the BJP not to contest more than 102 seats which it fought in 2010, when it was in alliance with the Janata Dal (United).

A couple of months back he made a similar demand and had sought the rest 73 seats for the Lok Janshakti Party. But now that the fourth constituent, Hindustani Awam Morcha of former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi, has joined the NDA Kushwaha did not say as to how many seats these two parties should be allotted.

Anyway Kushwaha’s statements is going to cause some worry in the BJP as it is disproportionately much higher RLSP contested last time. It has only three MPs in the Lok Sabha.
