Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday interpreted the change of date of prime minister Narendra Modi’s Bhagalpur rally from August 30 to September 1 as an acceptance of defeat by the BJP.
“Narendra Modi bhag gaya hum log ka jan jamao ke bare mein sun ke” (Narendra Modi ran away on hearing about our huge assemblage), he said while addressing the meeting of RJD office-bearers, former and current elected representatives and workers.

The meeting was called ahead of Swabhiman rally of the grand alliance to be held in Patna on August 30.

The BJP too had planned the rally of Narendra Modi on the same date in Bhagalpur, but on Friday last postponed it to September 1.

D vice president Raghuvansh Prasad Singh did some plainspeaking on the occasion.

He said that the grand alliance have done absolutely nothing to counter the challenge being posed by the National Democratic Alliance.

“What are we doing to expose the NDA,” he asked amidst murmuring from the audience. Incidentally, Lalu Prasad was very much present when Raghuvansh was coming down on his own party and its allies.
