Patna,(BiharTimes): In a unique gesture chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday invited 40 Patna-based journalists for ‘Breakfast Pe Charcha’.

After the breakfast with the CM the journalists, some of them prominent names of the state media, were provided with a questionnaire and asked to give their suggestions for the development of Bihar.

A selected band of journalists were invited for the event. Sunday’s breakfast is a unique pre-election exercise in the state. Independent analysts are interpreting it as a move by the ruling party to influence the media in Bihar.

It is a slight departure from ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ of Narendra Modi. Prashant Kishore, who is now handling the media machinery of the ruling party in Bihar, is being credited for both these ideas. Before the last year’s Lok Sabha poll he was with Narendra Modi
