Nitish unveils 2.7 lakh crore election-eve development plan for Bihar


Patna,(BiharTimes): A few days before the announce-ment of election dates Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday unveiled a massive Rs 2.70 lakh crore devel-opment plan for the state next five years.
The plan includes free electricity and drinking water connection in every household of the state––both in ur-ban and rural areas.

Ridiculing the prime minister Narendra Modi’s ‘package’, which according to him, is nothing but repackaging of old schemes, he said his Rs 2.70 lakh crore plan com-prises programmes which are feasible and achieveable. He said he had worked out mobilisation of resources for it.

Countering PM’s “Man Ki Baat” the Bihar CM said it was his “Dil ki Baat” he said the 7-point development plan was in addition to the ongoing schemes in different sec-tors.

State Finance Minister Bijendra Yadav and IPRD minis-ter Vijay Chaudhary were also present at the Press con-fere, where Nitish unveiled the plan.
