Patna,(BiharTimes): The chief of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee and the newly appointed education minister Ashok Choudhary said on Sunday that four ministers of the party in the Nitish Kumar cabinet would hold Janata Durbar once a week at the party’s headquarters, Sadaquat Ashram, in Patna.

According to him the idea is to establish better coordination between the government and the people as many of them do not get appointments with ministers in their offices because of a busy schedule.
The education minister said he would be available on all working days from 10 in the morning. The other three ministers would be available at Sadaquat Ashram on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays, respectively.

In case of non-availability of the minister MLAs and senior leaders would listen to the grievances of the people, collect their applications and apprise the ministers concerned accordingly, he said.

The party has also decided to complete the process of disciplinary action against members who defied party diktat and contested the Assembly elections as Independents or had worked against the party’s or grand alliance’s official candidates.
