Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday nigt attended the wedding reception of the daughter of Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
He met vice president Hamid Ansari, JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav and noted lawyer Ram Jethmalani.
He is scheduled to meet prime minister Narendra Modi in Parliament on Thursday. Later he would call on President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhawan and meet Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and Nationalist Congress Party chief, Sharad Pawar.
This is the first visit to Delhi of chief minister after the grand alliance won election in Bihar last month.
The last time Nitish and Modi came together was in the reception of Tej Pratap, grand nephew of Mulayam Singh Yadav in February last. Tej was married to RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s youngest daughter Raj Lakshmi.
