SuMo seeks disciplinary action against Kirti Azad

Patna,(BiharTimes): Leader of opposition in Bihar Legislative Council, Sushil Kumar Modi, on Tuesday sought disciplinary action against the BJP’s Darbhanga MP and former international cricketer, Kirti Azad, for, what he said, hurling baseless allegations against the Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley.
Talking to the media he charged Azad with embarrassing the party by unnecessarily targeting a top BJP leader. He said that the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party stands strongly behind Jaitley and demands action against Kirti Azad.
Many other state BJP leaders hold the same view.
OnlyShatrughan Sinha, the party MP from Patna Sahab, is in favour of probe into the whole DDCA affairs.
The turmoil in the BJP has come just a month after a big defeat at the hand of Nitish Kumar-led grand alliance in Bihar.
The Aam Admi Party is exploiting the issue and political observers are of the view that the CBI raid on the office of Delhi chief minister and his personal secretary have backfired.
Kirti Azad is the son of former Union minister, Bhagwat Jha Azad, who in late 1980s wemt on to become the chief minister of Bihar. Then he was in Congress.
