Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar government will hire four cleanliness messengers in ech of its 8,404 panchayats. They will take care of the hygiene and cleanliness of the villages.According to reports all the formalities have been completed and the process to hire around 33,000 such messengers will begin soon. They will get a Rs 1,25,000 annually. The recruitment will be done on panchayat level and public health engineering department (PHED) will invigilate the procedure.

The candidates should be resident of the panchayat for which application has been filled. They should be between 18 and 45
years.
ASHA workers and Grameen Awas workers will be given preference.
The applicants should be at least Class-VIII pass.
