Nitish flays Amit Shah for threatening media, says BJP is heading for rout in Delhi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday accused the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Amit Shah, of threatening the media simply because the pre-poll survey telecast by one of the channels showed that Aam Admi Party is going to win the Delhi Assembly election.

Addressing the party workers on the occasion of Janata Dal (United)’s Youth Day he claimed that Aam Admi Party under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal is heading for a big win in the Delhi Assembly election.

As the BJP people have lost their battle they have started hurling choicest abusives on AAP leaders. They are panicky as the defeat in Delhi would dealt a devastating blow to the saffron party, which would meet the same fate in Bihar too. The depressing mood in the BJP camp can be gauged from the fact that they have now started questioning the ‘gotra’ (clan) of Arvind Kejriwal.Nitish recalled as to how Amit Shah, while addressing newspersons in Patna on January 24 last, singled out ‘Aaj Tak’ for his criticism, when he was asked about the prospect of his party in the Delhi election.

The former CM said that the BJP had already conceded defeat in Delhi. It has thrown all the top leaders, ministers, MPs etc into the battle, but it is bound to be defeated. When the same channels showed the surveys on the eve of the last year Lok Sabha election it was very good for the BJP, but now when the figures are not supporting their leaders they are trying to bully the same media. He once again asked the JD(U) workers to beware of the baseless propaganda and lies being spread by the BJP. He also them to spread the message of the party and the achievements of the state government made in the last nine years. He said how in the name of Hindu and Muslim divisions are being created by the BJP.
