Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Wednesday did not turn up at the meeting of all the 38 Janata Dal (United) candidates who contested the last year Lok Sabha election. The party left two seats for the CPI then.

The chief minister, who unsuccessfully contested Lok Sabha election from the Gaya reserved constituency,. was supposed to come.Reports said that at least 10 of the candidates did not attend the meeting.

However, later on Wednesday evening Manjhi and JD(U) Sharad Yadav held a close door meeting.Earlier, in the day Nitish Kumar also held a meeting with the Women’s Cell of the Janata Dal (United).
