Shiv Sena blasts BJP for supporting Manjhi, opposing Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): One of the oldest allies of the BJP, the Shiv Sena has come down strongly on the saffron party leadership for supporting the Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi even though he publicly said that he accepts commission.

In its editorial its mouthpiece, Samana, equated this support for Manjhi to a sin and endorsement of black era in politics. The party asked as to how can one support Manjhi, who had publicly said in a speech a couple of days back that he accepts commission. Such a chief minister is now trying to win majority in Assembly with BJP support.

The editorial clearly said that former CM Nitish Kumar has the backing of 130 MLAs and yet Manjhi is trying to get BJP support. This is not the first time that Shiv Sena has directly criticized the BJP. After the crashing defeat of the saffron party in the Delhi Assembly election the party strongly flayed prime minister Narendra Modi. It demanded that Modi accept the blame for the virtual wipe out.

The Shiv Sena said that nobody should justify the current situation in Bihar politics.According to Sena Manjhi exceeded his limits by announcing reservations for Dalits in government contract tender process.
