Nitish’s blue-eyed boys back, Subhani again becomes home secretary

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Almost all the blue-eyed boy of chief minister Nitish Kumar are back to important posts in the state bureaucracy. The former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, had, on Jan 6 last, shifted them to other posts creating a lot of resentment in the Janata Dal (United) circle.


Amir Subhani, who was transferred to the General Administrative Department is back as the principal home secretary of Bihar. He will continue to hold General Administration and Minority Welfare deapartments.Sudhir Kumar has been shifted from the post of principal home secretary within one and a half months. He is now agriculture department principal secretary.


Another Nitish’s favouriate, Dharmendra Singh Gangwar, is now the new principal secretary to the chief minister. He was principal secretary, planning and development.Pratyaya Amrit, secretary in the energy department, has been given additional charge of the information and public relations department.


Chanchal Kumar, secretary, rural welfare, has been brought back to the chief minister’s secretariat in the same rank. He had worked as secretary in the chief minister’s secretariat during previous tenure of Nitish Kumar, but was shifted by the Manjhi regime.


Secretary, labour resources, S Sidhartha, has been given additional charge of information technology.Amrit Lal Meena, who served as principal secretary to chief minister Manjhi, has been moved to the urban development and housing department.


Tripurari Sharan, who was principal secretary in the agriculture department and held additional charge of IT, has been shifted to the industries department in the same capacity.


Sudhir Kumar Rakesh has been shifted as principal secretary, panchayati raj. He was working as director, Bihar General Administration. ELSN Bala Prasad has been appointed the new commissioner of Patna. He was earlier commissioner-cum-additional secretary in the commercial taxes department.


Principal secretary, tourism, Deepak Kumar has been made the new principal secretary, planning and development. S M Raju, who held the post of secretary, rural development department, has been made secretary, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes department.Jayant Kant, IPS, will be the next superintendent of police of Jamui.In all 28 IAS and three IPS officers were shifted on Tuesday.
