JD(U) throws ‘chura-dahi’ party for RJD

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): The Political Advisory Committee of the Janata Dal (United) on Saturday gave green signal to the merger of the party with five other parties, including the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
The two-day ‘manthan’ (brain-storming session) would continue till Sunday.


Among others it was attended by former chief minister Nitish Kumar and state party president, Bashisthan Narayan Singh. Later talking to the media Singh said that his party would throw a ‘dahi-chura’ party on January 14, (Tilsakrat Day). Leaders and workers of JD(U) as wwell as RJD would be invited to the party.


However, he clarified that the merger would not be announced on that day, but on later day in a much bigger show in New Delhi.


Food minister Shyam Rajak and RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui too expressed the similar sentiment.The Janata Dal (United) invited all senior leaders in this two day meeting. The party rank and file was advised to convince the masses of the importance of the merger of the parties of the Janata Parivar.
