Sharad, Nitish meet Lalu in New Delhi

Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Janata Dal (United) leaders Nitish Kumar and Sharad Yadav held talks in New Delhi on Friday to chalk out the merger plan.Though they discussed the issue of merger they rejected speculation that their meeting was on leadership change in Bihar.

They are to meet Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday. Later Lalu said that there is no talk about removing or not removing Jitan Ram Manjhi. Those who are not able to digest the coming together of JD(U) and RJD are spreading all these rumours.

“It is being said that I am angry with Manjhi. Why should I be angry? I had not appointed him as chief minister. I have no anger towards any one,” he told the media. He said that issues related to the flag and symbol of the new upcoming party was also dicussed.

JD (U) general secretary K C Tyagi said that both Nitish and Sharad went to the residence of Lalu. He too discounted that Manjhi came up during the discussion.
