RJD-JD(U) to merge before mega-merger of Janata Parivar, says  JD(U)

Patna,(BiharTimes): Now it appears to be clear from the  Janata Dal (United) point of view that the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Janata Dal (United) would merge  before the six parties of the Janata Parivar finally merge.

The indications in this regard were given by the national  president of the Janata Dal (United) Sharad Yadav and the  state unit chief Vashistha Narayan Singh.

Sharad Yadav said here on Tuesday that though it is not final  yet there is a thinking that the merger would take place  first in Bihar because there is Assembly election in the  state later this year. He said that there is a view that the  merger should take place first in Bihar, which is the “zameen  hai parivartan ki” (land of change).

State party chief Vashisthan Narayan Singh too expressed  similar view. Like in the past he had thrown another ‘dahi- chura’ party on ‘Tilsakrat’ day. All the top leaders of the  two parties, besides that of Samajwadi Party and Indian  National Lok Dal are to attend in it.

Similar ‘dahi-chura’ party has been thrown by Lalu Prasad on  Jan 15 at the house of Rabri Devi, where too all the leaders  of Janata Parivar are likely to converge.

However, both Sharad and Vashistha refused to give any  deadline for the merger in Bihar.
