No need of Mahadalit CM for development of this section:  Shyam Rajak

Patna,(BiharTimes): Without taking anyone’s name food  minister Shyam Rajak said that it is not necessary that the  chief minister of Bihar should be Mahadalit for the  development of this section of the society.

Talking to the media on Tuesday he said that Mahatma Gandhi  did much for the uplift of Dalits than any other leader.  Similarly, Raja Ram Mohan Roy contributed enormously in the  field of the liberation of women. Indirectly criticizing chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi for  his statement given a day earlier that it would be better for  the SCs and STs of the state that Bihar should have a  Mahadalit chief minister Rajak, who is himself from a  Mahadalit caste, said that no one had done so much for the  development of this section in the state than former chief  minister Nitish Kumar.
