Political churning at ‘dahi-chura’ parties

Patna,(BiharTimes): Prominent leaders of Rashtriya Janata Dal  and Janata Dal (United) attended the ‘chura-dahi’ parties  thrown by Lalu Prasad Yadav and Vashistha Narayan Singh on  Wednesday.

The lone exception was the former chief minister Nitish  Kumar, who, according to Vashistha Narayan Singh, is running  102 degree temperature.

Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav,  party general secretary K C Tyagi, Samajwadi Party leader Om  Prakash Yadav, Indian National Lok Dal leader, Abhay  Chautala, RJD leader Prem Gupta etc attended both the  parties.

Later, Lalu also attended the party of Vashistha Narayan  Singh.

Talking to the media Sharad slightly changed his statement  given on Tuesday by saying that Laluji said “sampoorna baat  (complete), I said only a ‘hissa’ (partial)”. On being asked  about his Tuesday’s statement he said: “kal ki baat beet  gayee.” (Yesterday’s is old story.) However, he did not explain much.

Even the INLD leader Chautala was not very clear-cut in his  reply on mega-merger. He said the picture would soon be  clear.

Tyagi said that all the parties of Janata Parivar would  merge.
